Design Scandinavian – Italian. Style Minimal – Decorative.
The designer Brian Rasmussen, MAA at the Royal Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen, moved to Venice immediately after his studies where he encountered the values, history and materials of the Italian artisan tradition. The BALL collection is the result of these two very different cultures merging and thus creating a new point of view. The minimal shape of the lamp is in sharp contrast with the strongly decorated “balloton“ technique used to create the glass element.
